Canon Laser printers need 1Mb of memory to print a full page of graphical
print, i.e. text under MS Windows using TrueType fonts etc. Sometimes
these printers are still supplied with 0.5Mb and therefore will only print
╜ a page. The only solution if this is the case is to contact your local
Canon Dealer and arrange to get the printer upgraded to at least 1Mb of
memory.
GDI printers are printers that directly access the Windows Subsystem
to get the printing information and use the memory on the PC as its own
processing memory.
Many of the GDI printers on the market will also emulate the HP Laserjet
printer language PCL given the correct settings. If you experience any
problems whilst printing from Sage Line 50 refer to your printer manual,
or manufacturer, to find out if it is possible to set the printer to work
as any other printer as this may solve the problem.
